What to do on Eigg

Where to start on a topic like this? With such an abundance of birdlife, rare fauna, archaeological sites, empty sandy beaches, hill walking etc, it is impossible for our visitors to be short of something interesting to occupy the day. In the evenings the focal point of island social activity is the new pier complex (which houses the licenced tea-shop/ cafe, craft shop and grocery store. On many weekends during the summer there is a ceilidh band playing either here or up in the community hall nearby.
