Eigg Shop and Post Office

Isle of Eigg Shop is located at the head of the jetty in the south east of the island.

We are often described as being extremely well stocked for a small shop, and will endeavour to obtain any item you require. We stock many organic items, as well as frozen foods, batteries, films, stationery, toiletries, Ordnance Survey maps and guidebooks. However, please bear in mind the fact that our main ambient supplier delivers only once a fortnight, so if placing an order please give us time to order in any unusual supplies. Main delivery days are Monday and Thursday for bread, milk and vegetables, Thursday for fish and Friday for fresh meat. We will hold any of these items that you require until your arrival day if appropriate. We stock free range eggs produced on the island, and whilst we have a large selection of fruit and vegetables available, fresh organic salads herbs and vegetables are often available on a "turn up and see what's available" basis from Neil Robertson (in Cleadale).

It is often possible to arrange locally caught prawns, crab and lobster depending on availability - please phone or email to discuss. We have provided an order form for basic provisions. This covers only a fraction of our stock, so please feel free to phone, fax or email us a list of different requirements.

Isle of Eigg Shop can accept payment by cash, cheque, credit or debit card, and can deliver orders directly to your door (Please let us know date and time of arrival, and where you would like goods delivered.)
