Smiddy has a sitting/sleeping area which is suitable for two/three
adults with two futons and a single bed. A stone wall divides the
sitting area from a well equipped kitchen.
There is an outside toilet and shower adjoining the building. The
Smiddy has a gas cooker, electric water heater and fridge. There
is an open fire in the sitting area. Bedding and towels are provided.
The
Smiddy is £28.50 per night or £185 per week, gas and
electricity is included. (prices are in GBP)
Small
bags of coal can be purchased from the shop.
The
caves and the Sgurr are within easy reach. A taxi service (Stuart
on 07767807293) leaves from the pier on a daily basis (timetable
available from Stuart) giving visitors the chance to explore the
north side of the island and the Singing Sands.

visitors wish to order supplies/coal from the shop prior to their
arrival, the telephone number is 01687 482432, I can deliver any
orders to the Smiddy. During the summer months the Tea-room (01687
482487) will serve meals/bar meals on certain evenings. |
